Bridges of Belonging: Where Paths Converge at the Seven Bridges Foundation

May 26 to June 26, 2025
Opening Reception: June 7, 2025, 2–4 PM

I’m excited to share that my painting, “Dreams at Bay,” will be included in the upcoming exhibition Bridges of Belonging: Where Paths Converge at the Seven Bridges Foundation in Greenwich, Connecticut. The show, a collaboration between the Alumni Association of the New York Academy of Art and Seven Bridges, opens May 26, 2025 and will be viewable by appointment through June 26.

When I dropped off my painting, I had the chance to see part of the foundation’s extraordinary collection—over 1,200 works, including large-scale figurative paintings, sculpture, photography, and glass art. Every room is beautifully curated and full of inspiration, with work by Patricia Watwood, Steven Assael, Vincent Desiderio, and Daniel Greene. I’ve never seen so many Odd Nerdrum paintings in person—I was in awe.

Seven Bridges was founded in 1993 by Richard McKenzie to support the work of living artists—both established and emerging—and to foster creativity through their collection and exhibitions.

I’m grateful to be included in this exhibition, and I highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area.
