Join artist Stephanie Deshpande for a 4-session Zoom workshop where you’ll learn to paint a portrait of your dog or cat in oil. You can work from a photo of your own pet, while Stephanie’s live demonstration will focus on painting a dog.

Throughout the workshop, you’ll explore how to capture the distinctive features and personality of your pet. Lessons will cover blocking in the composition directly on canvas, identifying key landmarks, massing in large value areas, and refining forms through comparative measurement, values, edges, and color relationships. You’ll also be introduced to glazing techniques to enhance depth and luminosity.

Participants will receive a digital handbook, access to session recordings, and personalized feedback via email. This workshop is suitable for all levels.
