Mentorship Program — Online Class Sessions

Tuesdays, September–December 2026
7:00pm–9:30pm ET

This option is for artists who want to participate in the weekly group classes, work through structured exercises, receive feedback on their work, and learn alongside the other members of the mentorship. Each month builds on the previous one, while allowing room to explore the interests and goals of the group.

You will also have access to all mentorship session recordings and resources for a year, or as long as you remain a mentee.

This option does not include the monthly one-on-one Zoom meetings.

Month 1: An introduction to your artistic goals and current work, along with foundational topics such as composition, color, value, and understanding light on form.

Month 2: Still life painting from life, with a focus on composition, color, value, and the process of developing a painting from the initial block-in through the final stages. Glazing techniques will also be introduced.

Month 3: Floral painting, focusing on composition, form, and color.

Month 4: Portrait painting, with a focus on proportions, light and shadow, natural skin tones, and creating a convincing sense of form and likeness.

Throughout the program, you’ll receive feedback on your work during the live sessions and have opportunities to discuss your paintings and questions with the group. All session recordings and mentorship resources will be available for a year, or as long as you remain a mentee.

Cost: $200 per month, billed at the beginning of each of the 4 payment periods.

This option includes the weekly online class sessions, feedback on your work, and access to all mentorship recordings and resources. Monthly one-on-one meetings are not included.
