Stephanie Deshpande will demonstrate how to approach painting a realistic floral still life in this two-day Zoom course. Students will learn how to block in the composition directly on the canvas, measure landmarks, and mass in large value areas. We will discuss comparative measurement, values, edges, and color relationships. Students will practice the steps necessary to create a successful alla prima floral painting in oil.
